百老匯音樂劇《Hamilton》內容描述美國開國元老之一Alexander Hamilton的一生，劇本、音樂、歌詞全都由Hamilton的扮演者Lin-Manuel Miranda一手包辦。音樂劇在2016年的《東尼獎》 (Tony Award) 提名名單中大放異彩，獲得了16項提名，打破了《The Producers》、《Billy Elliot》的15項提名的記錄，成為東尼獎歷史上提名最多的百老匯劇目。
