曾是奧斯卡加冕的已故傳奇大師Elmer Bernstein學生，也拍過樂團音樂錄影帶的Bear McCreary，2010年憑藉《Human Target 替身標靶》，首次入圍艾美獎，同年替高收視率的《The Walking Dead 陰屍路》撰寫主題音樂，更是聲名大噪。2013年的《Da Vinci’s Demons 達文西的惡魔》，抱回艾美獎肯定，因為主導《Outlander 異鄉人》配樂而入圍艾美獎「最佳電視劇編曲」喝采。
Bear打造交響金屬計畫之作《The Singularity: Ekleipsis》，延續金屬史詩篇章，描繪一個受創、陷入動盪的世界。主要由Bear與他才華洋溢的弟弟Brendan共同創作，Ekleipsis一詞源自古希臘語，意為「遺棄」，作品透過失望、幻滅以及在困境中持續奮戰的主題，探索人們面對苦難時的掙扎與堅持。邀請多位搖滾界頂尖音樂人助陣，包括：System Of A Down的Serj Tankian、Slipknot的Corey Taylor、Rufus Wainwright、Gojira的Joe Duplantier、Fall Out Boy的Patrick Stump、Coheed And Cambria的Claudio Sanchez、Meshuggah的Jens Kidman、Alissa White-Gluz、Polyphia的Tim Henson、Steve Vai、Guns N' Roses的Slash和Duff McKagan、Red Hot Chili Peppers的Chad Smith、The Police的Stewart Copeland等重量級嘉賓參與其中，增添其絕對的精采度！
