迷人的外表、出眾的琴藝，鋼琴家卡蒂雅（Khatia Buniatishvili）在Sony Classical推出的新專輯《生命迷宮》，展現她不凡的想像力與敏銳的哲思。透過雋永的獨奏鋼琴旋律，《生命迷宮》探索人生的猶豫、渴望、感官、愉悅和痛苦，迷宮的意象，代表的是「宿命與創造，僵局與解脫」，卡蒂雅進一步解釋，「也可以是感官的、生命的複調音樂，可言說的或不可言說的，意料之中或意料之外的轉折，諸如此類，我們的思維的迷宮……」 《生命迷宮》在巴黎愛樂廳的布列茲大廳錄製，從巴哈最知名的G弦之歌，一直到「大音希聲」、無聲勝有聲的約翰‧凱吉的《4分33秒》，再到當代最能展現音樂渲染力的表現場域的電影配樂：莫利克奈蕩氣迴腸的《黛博拉的主題》、菲利浦‧葛拉斯入圍奧斯卡的電影《時時刻刻》配樂、還有在奇幻愛情電影《水底情深》裡令人一聽難忘的，法國歌手塞吉‧甘斯柏的浪漫名曲《爪哇》。《生命迷宮》是卡蒂雅發行錄音至今選曲最大膽、取材範圍最廣的一次全新嘗試，她也請到姐姐喬萬莎‧布尼亞季什維利一起合作演出帕特的《等距》，以及巴哈的西西里舞曲。
